1. Product Overview

LMIDL2 RCCB is professional residual current circuit breaker (RCD/RCCB) developed strictly to IEC61008-1 standard, manufactured for earth leakage, electric shock and leakage-caused fire protection. This series covers 2 Pole and 4 Pole configurations with rated current from 16A up to 63A, default residual current 30mA (custom leakage available on request).
Adopted advanced magnetic trip system and flame retardant housing, the breaker features fast tripping ≤0.1s upon leakage fault. Standard 35mm DIN rail installation fits all distribution boxes, ideal for household power, office building, factory and solar auxiliary circuit safety protection.

2. Key Features

  • Multi Specifications: 2P /4P pole options; rated current:16A,25A,32A,40A,63A; standard IΔn=30mA
  • Fast Leakage Trip: Tripping time ≤0.1s at rated residual current for instant shock protection
  • Wide Working Voltage: 230V AC(2P)/400V AC(4P),50Hz power frequency
  • DIN Rail Mount: Standard 35mm DIN rail design for quick panel installation
  • Monthly Test Button: Built-in TEST button for regular function inspection as required
  • Flame Retardant Casing: UL94-V0 fireproof plastic shell, high temperature resistant
  • High Breaking Capacity: 6000A short-circuit withstand capacity, stable performance
  • CE Certified & IEC Compliant: Conforms IEC61008-1 & GB/T16916.1 international safety standards

4. Working Principle

LMIDL2 RCCB detects vector difference of incoming and outgoing circuit current via internal zero-sequence current transformer:
  1. Under normal working condition, incoming & outgoing current offset mutually, no induced current, breaker keeps closed;
  2. Once leakage/electric shock occurs, unbalanced residual current generates induced signal to trip component;
  3. Breaker cuts off circuit within ≤0.1s to avoid personal electric shock and leakage fire risks;
  4. Built-in TEST button simulates leakage fault to verify breaker function monthly.

5. Applications

  • Residential: Household distribution box, home wiring leakage protection
  • Commercial: Shopping mall, office building, hotel power distribution cabinet
  • Industrial: Small factory equipment, workshop auxiliary circuit protection
  • New Energy: Small solar system, charging pile front-end leakage protection
  • Construction: Construction site temporary electricity safety control

6. Installation Guide

  1. Mount: Snap RCCB onto standard 35mm DIN rail inside distribution cabinet;
  2. Wiring: Connect incoming live & neutral wire on top terminals, outgoing load cables on bottom terminals; strictly follow N pole wiring marking;
  3. Inspection: After wiring finished, press green TEST button to check if breaker trips normally; reset if working properly;
  4. Maintenance: Press TEST button monthly regularly for functional test as marked “Test monthly”.

7. FAQ

Q1: What’s difference between 2P and 4P RCCB?

2P is for single phase 230V AC (1Live+1Neutral), 4P for three-phase 400V AC (3Live+1Neutral) power supply circuit.

Q2: What does 30mA mean?

30mA is rated residual operating current, breaker cuts off circuit when leakage current hits 30mA to prevent human electric shock hazard.

Q3: Can I customize other residual current?

Yes, besides standard 30mA, we support 100mA/300mA residual current customized for fire protection application.

Q4: How to select rated current?

Match In value per total load rated current of the circuit, choose next higher specification for safety margin.

Q5: Is this RCCB CE approved?

All LMIDL2 RCCB pass IEC61008-1 test and get CE certification for global export.
